Things you gonna need- Time-1 1/2 hours.
½ whole chicken
¼ tsp. saffron
2 ½ chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
½ tsp. mustard seeds
½ tsp. fenugreek seeds
1 large onion sliced
¾ cumin seeds
4 cloves of garlic in paste
1 cup water
½ cup coconut milk (thick)
1 tbsp. lime juice
Piece of ginger grinded
Let’s get started-
- Season chicken with saffron, coriander, black pepper, chili powder and salt. Cover and refrigerate for an hour.
- Place oil in medium heat and fry mustard , fenugreek, onion and cumin for 3 to 4 min. add garlic, ginger and cook for 2 more min. Then add seasoned chicken and water. Cook it for 20 to 30 min.
- Then stair in the coconut milk and cook till almost dry. Stair occasionally. In the end add lime juice
